The 24th China International Optoelectronic Expo was held from September 6th to 8th, 2023, at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center. Initiated and chaired by Mr. Wang Daheng, a prominent figure in Chinese optics and a senior academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the expo was organized by the New Technology Development Center of the China Association for Science and Technology, with support from the Shenzhen Optoelectronics Industry Association and Shenzhen Herong Bowan Exhibition Co., Ltd. The exhibition covered a vast area of 240,000 square meters and attracted participation from over 3,000 companies.
As a comprehensive optoelectronics industry exhibition of significant scale and influence, the event featured seven concurrent exhibitions, spanning the fields of information and communication, optics, lasers, infrared, ultraviolet, sensors, innovation, and displays. It showcased cutting-edge optoelectronic innovation technologies and comprehensive solutions for the optoelectronic and related industries.
To keep abreast of the latest industry trends, understand market development directions, and facilitate business negotiations with upstream and downstream partners in the optoelectronics industry, the leadership team of Davo Electronics visited this exhibition and engaged in extensive exchanges with various exhibitors and customers.
In recent years, the market scale of traditional applications of optoelectronic materials, such as photography, projection, and security, has gradually contracted. However, the growth in demand from emerging industries like smart cities, solar power generation, and new energy vehicles has continued to drive the development of China's optoelectronic materials industry. In the first eleven months of 2022, China's photovoltaic power generation industry added 65.71 million kilowatts of installed capacity, reaching a cumulative installed capacity of 372 million kilowatts. In the domestic new energy vehicle industry, the market saw sales of 6.253 million vehicles and production of 6.067 million vehicles, with year-on-year growth rates of 106.85% and 100.6%, respectively.
Davo Electronics' metal keyboards and optoelectronic trackballs have been widely used in optoelectronic equipment, including solar photovoltaic devices and semiconductor packaging equipment. They have received praise from users for their excellent quality and performance. Davo has consistently focused on meeting customer needs, emphasizing product energy efficiency and compatibility. We are not only committed to creating high-quality products but also dedicated to fulfilling the essential requirements of the market. Our pursuit goes beyond continuous product performance improvement; we also invest in strengthening our own capabilities and tirelessly enhance our technical expertise. Davo has always upheld the spirit of professionalism and dedication, tirelessly striving to add luster to the optoelectronics industry."
